A pictorial review of the two tours ran by Mercia Charters over the weekend of 21/22 June. Both days featured 5811 and 1254 with 203.1 appearing on the Amersfoort Pon leg on the Saturday.

Saturday 7th July saw 58038 haul its first passenger train since the 11th of December 1994.
The route taken was Rotterdam CS Lage Zwuale (58 detached) Moerdijk/Oosterhout branches (Dutch 6703) Lage Zwuale (58 attached) Tilburg - s Hertogenbosch Utrecht (reverse, Dutch 1251 now powering) Arnhem Dieren (via VSM with Dutch 661 piloting) Apeldoorn (1251 and 6703 now working in multiple) Amersfoort (then diverted on the following route due to signal failure at Utrecht) - Amsterdam avoider Breukelen - Gouda Rotterdam CS.

To celebrate 21 years of the Class 58 locomotives, the C58LG arranged the "Barrow Hill Bone" event on the 6th of December 2003 (58001 being handed over to BR on the 9th December 1982).
At the "Barrow Hill Bone" event, members were allowed to look inside 58001 in detail - both inside and out, something not normally permitted on locomotives at Barrow Hill.
