5814 at Zwolle works and "That Which Survives" tour

Saturday 7th July saw 58038 haul it’s first passenger train since the 11th of December 1994.
The route taken was Rotterdam CS – Lage Zwuale (58 detached) – Moerdijk/Oosterhout branches (Dutch 6703) Lage Zwuale (58 attached) – Tilburg - ’s Hertogenbosch – Utrecht (reverse, Dutch 1251 now powering) – Arnhem – Dieren – (via VSM with Dutch 661 piloting) – Apeldoorn (1251 and 6703 now working in multiple) – Amersfoort – (then diverted on the following route due to signal failure at Utrecht) - Amsterdam avoider – Breukelen - Gouda – Rotterdam CS.

This photo collection is a record of events both on the day, and in the few days leading up to it when 5814 (58038) was a Zwolle workshops having its tyres turned.
